Global law firm White & Case LLP announces the appointment of high profile litigation lawyer, Paraschiva (Peggy) Şuică-Neagu, as a partner to lead its Bucharest disputes practice.

Peggy Şuică-Neagu joins White & Case from OMV Petrom S.A. (formerly Petrom S.A.), where she led their litigation department.
With over 15 years of experience as a litigation lawyer, Peggy Şuică-Neagu is specialized in civil and commercial litigation, including administrative and tax, intellectual property, banking, labor and real estate. Her litigation and arbitration expertise is complemented by extensive exposure to projects and transactions in other practice areas such as oil & gas, privatizations, banking & finance, real estate, and labor & employment.

In addition to her native Romanian, Peggy Şuică-Neagu is fluent in English and French.
Peggy received her LLB from the Bucharest Law School and graduated Magna Cum Laude from the Bucharest Academy of Economics, with a diploma in Planning & Cybernetics. She has been a member of the Bucharest Bar Association since 1995.
Peggy Şuică-Neagu's appointment follows on the heels of an impressive list of partner hires in the Dispute Resolution Practice of White & Case in Europe. Milan Kohlrusz, head of White & Case's Dispute Resolution Practice in its Budapest office, joined the Firm in March 2010 adding significant experience in administrative, commercial and civil litigation.
Kohlrusz is accomplished in liquidation and insolvency proceedings and has extensive experience in the resolution of sensitive conflicts with various governmental bodies in the Hungarian courts as well as the European Court of Justice. In July 2010, White & Case announced the arrival of David Goldberg, a leading Russian speaking international arbitration lawyer, who brings considerable experience of international commercial arbitration and investment arbitration, particularly in relation to Eastern Europe and the CIS. Goldberg is an acknowledged leading lawyer for Russia-based disputes, with a Band One ranking in Chambers 2010 for 'Russia Disputes – Overseas Counsel'. Furthermore, partners Michel Beaussier and Isabelle Fenayrou-Degas joined White & Case's Paris office in September this year. Beaussier is a senior white collar lawyer with more than 30 years' experience and has a leading reputation in the French legal market for criminal bank regulatory matters. Fenayrou Degas is a highly respected white collar lawyer who represents banks and corporations in criminal and regulatory proceedings.
